This provides superior strength when you are using the draining lids to strain liquids from the pans. The lids have a small group of holes on either side of the lid which fit into the lips of the pans so that you can drain liquids from the pan without having to use a colander or sieve. The pans have a hot-forged base which ensures great heat distribution across the whole pan so that your food cooks perfectly and properly every time. On some of the pans, there are internal measuring guides to show you how much food is in your pan and if you have the right amounts.
